Inspection Requirements

In accordance with the Code of the Village of Pittsford, all rental properties must undergo a safety and code-compliance inspection, submitted as a self-inspection consistent with the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and all applicable sections of the Village Code. This documentation is required at initial registration and at each permit renewal in accordance with the established inspection cycle.

The two-page rental inspection checklist is attached and must be completed and mailed back to the village office.

 All registered properties must submit their inspection.
