Dan is originally from the Northern Suburbs of Chicago and moved to Rochester in 2014. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University where he met his wife Kylie, a Pittsford native. Dan and Kylie have lived on Church Street since 2018, actively renovating and restoring their home while focusing on the original character and charm of the 19th Century house. Jim Roode grew up in an 1820 Cape Cod house in Massachusetts. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and has been managing manufacturing projects for more than twenty years in a variety of different roles. Jim and his wife Lawrie are lovers of antiques and the proud caretakers of an 1860 Pittsford Village home.

Cristina, has a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Notre Dame. Thereafter, she spent several years working in Boston, MA predominately on historic renovation and new construction in historic locations. She and her family relocated to Pittsford in 2001 and purchased a house on Locust Street that appears on Village maps as early as 1872. It was formerly the home of the Hicks family. Rabia Stevenson moved to the Village of Pittsford during the pandemic, where she is raising her two teenage daughters and has developed a deep appreciation for the history, character, and sense of community that make the Village distinctive. She lives in an 1870 home that she has extensively restored, completing many projects herself and working with contractors and skilled tradespeople on others. The experience has given her a firsthand appreciation for both the rewards and practical challenges of maintaining a historic property and sparked a growing interest in traditional materials, craftsmanship, architecture, and preservation.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo and is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. As a clinical pharmacy specialist serving healthcare facilities across several states, her work requires interpreting complex standards and regulations, developing policies and protocols, evaluating individual circumstances, and finding practical solutions with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
She brings those skills to the Historic Preservation Board along with the perspective of a homeowner and neighbor. Her own restoration experience has given her particular respect for residents navigating projects that can be complicated, expensive, and unfamiliar. She believes preservation works best when homeowners have clear expectations, consistent guidance, and a collaborative process that helps them meet the needs of their homes while preserving the qualities that make the Village special.
Her decision to serve on the Board is rooted in a desire to give back to a community of which she is extremely proud. As a mother raising two daughters in the Village, she has a personal investment in ensuring that Pittsford remains a safe, welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive community. She hopes to bring a thoughtful, fair, and practical perspective to helping her neighbors find solutions that respect both the people who live here today and the architectural heritage of the Village.
